Speaking Engagements

Nancy Werlin is available to speak to both adults and teens about writing
for young adults and about the creative process. The cost is $2500 per
day plus hotel and airfare (if applicable). It is recommended that you
book at least a full year in advance; please note that 2007 is already
fully booked.
Nancy’s school and library visit program is suitable for middle-school and/or high-school students. This includes three sessions per day, which can be a combination of talks to large groups and small creative writing workshops.
In addition, a book sale and signing may be added if desired. For more information, contact Nancy Werlin directly at nancy@nancywerlin.com.
Applying for Grants: If your school can't afford an author visit—for Nancy or for any author that you’d like to visit your school—consider applying for a grant. A number of foundation and other web sites have detailed information about grants available to schools and how to apply for them.
